PHASE TWO CONSTRUCTION BEGINS
Future residents of Barwarre Gardens Retirement Village celebrated alongside City of Greater Geelong Mayor Cr Bruce Harwood, as construction began on new units at the Marshall estate.
Preliminary work started on the next stage of the Village which features 68 self-contained two-bedroom units. Cr Harwood and Cr Ron Nelson posed for pictures alongside genU CEO Mike McKinstry, as a crowd of excited residents watched on.
The Village is fast-becoming one of Geelong most popular retirement options, and features two outdoor barbecue areas with tables, expansive green spaces, and a family-friendly environment.
